Kinu dress

This piece begins on a handloom, where skilled artisans spend nearly a week weaving a luxurious cotton-silk fabric, allowing every thread to develop its own depth, texture and character. No two lengths are ever exactly alike.

The fabric is then transformed through an intricate hand block printing process unlike conventional prints. Instead of repeating a single motif, each garment is created as a carefully composed collage using seven to eight individually carved wooden blocks. Every block is printed by hand, layer after layer, taking almost three additional days to complete a single outfit. The result is a harmonious interplay of patterns that feels thoughtfully assembled rather than mechanically repeated.

Designed with a relaxed silhouette, concealed side pockets and an effortless drape, it is a piece that celebrates slow craftsmanship while remaining timeless in wardrobe.
